Mrs. Maud Lindsay-Gamrat is the founder and CEO of Atlantic Catering and Logistics Limited, a wholly-owned Ghanaian company which was established in 2014. Atlantic Catering and Logistics Limited, an ISO certified catering, beverage and logistics company whose mission is to provide quality, healthy, nutritious, and hygienically prepared meals and beverages for its customers, specializes in catering services for onshore and offshore operations, as well as camp management, ship and stores supplies, laundry, housekeeping, cleaning and janitorial services. The company offers excellent services to its teeming clients. Mrs. Lindsay-Gamrat exceptionally manages Atlantic and ensures maximum customer satisfaction by focusing on treating every bit of the planning to execution process to the highest standard in the industry in line with her company’s Limited Integrated Management Systems Program. Due to her untiring leadership of the company, it is now a leading brand in the catering and hospitality industry in Ghana. She empowered the company to obtain ISO 45001-2018 for Occupational Health and Safety Management System; ISO 22000:2018 for Food Safety Management System; and ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management System. For captaining Atlantic Catering and Logistics Limited to such success as an industry leader, Mrs. Lindsay-Gamrat was crowned the Most Respected CEO in Catering at the second Ghana Industry CEO Awards held in Accra on 29th November, 2019. The secret to her achievements is in part her being an expert in Food Safety with over 20 years of experience in leadership and management. Her specialty is Remote Site and In-flight Catering and Hospitality Management. She has worked in the industry and has successfully built and managed international catering firms in Ghana and globally. “I am very passionate about food and my environment and I want people to understand that food safety is essential… I have challenged myself to do what it takes to make Atlantic an outstanding firm. One of my major concerns with the food industry in this part of the world is negligence of the quality of what is produced. I have taken the step to ensure I get certifications for the standards I have to meet. Getting those certifications requires a lot of effort and sacrifice but hey the journey may be tough but who says we’re not strong enough to achieve our goals,” she says. In 2015, she got awarded the Most Outstanding Female Entrepreneur of the Year in Catering Services in Ghana at the Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards organized by The Business Executive Ltd. In 2016, she was named one of the 100 Most Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs in Ghana by WomanRising and got nominated for the Startup of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year Categories during the Ghana Startup Awards; an award scheme audited by KPMG and organized by The Startup Network; a flagship project of The African Network of Entrepreneurs (TANOE). In 2018, she was featured on Passion to Portfolio, a CNN program that spotlights emerging and established entrepeneurs globally. In 2019, she was inducted into the Feminine Ghana Hall of Fame, a group of ladies who are successful in their various fields of endeavor and act as mentors to young women. Mrs. Lindsay-Gamrat holds a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Professional Studies and is currently pursuing her Masters with CEIB. She credits her upbringing as shaping her outlook on life and the world and her appreciation of good food. Maud is married to her amazing husband, Jeff and the two share three children.
